Meaning: spending money or using resources freely and recklessly
Synonyms: wasteful, extravagant, spendthrift, improvident, imprudent, profligate
Antonyms: thrifty, economical, parsimonious
Usage: Jack’s prodigal actions left him penniless and without a home.  
 
2.GUILELESS (adjective)निष्कपट
Pronunciation: gail•lus 
Meaning: innocent and without deception
Synonyms: ingenuous, open, honest, sincere, genuine
Antonym: scheming, cunning, guileful  
Usage: She had the guileless innocence of a child on her face.

3.DENIGRATE (verb)बदनाम करना

Meaning: criticize unfairly
Synonyms: disparage, belittle, diminish, deprecate, roast 
Antonym: extol, commend, compliment
Usage: Bullies often denigrate others to hide their own feelings of worthlessness.

Pronunciation: kuhm•pen•dee•uhs
Meaning: containing or presenting the essential facts of something in a comprehensive but concise way
Synonyms: succinct, pithy, brief, crisp, compact, concise, condensed
Antonyms: rambling, expanded, lengthened
Usage: This essay is a compendious study of advantages and disadvantages of marriage.

5.FANTASY (noun) कल्पना
Pronunciation: fan•tuh•see
Meaning: a pleasant thought of an unlikely enjoyable situation
Synonyms: imagination, creativity, fancy, vision, speculation
Antonyms: truth, reality, actuality
Usage: Sometimes reality and fantasy are hard to distinguish. 
 
6.DRASTIC (adjective)भीषण, प्रबल
Pronunciation: draas•tik 
Meaning: likely to have a strong or far-reaching effect
Synonyms: extreme, serious, forceful, desperate, extreme
Antonyms: mild, moderate, calm 
Usage: After he lost the game, his drastic reaction was to punch a wall. 
 
7.ELITE (noun) - विशिष्ट वर्ग

Meaning: individuals who are viewed as the finest in a group or society
Synonyms: best, pick, nonpareil, elect, aristocracy, nobility, gentry, upper class
Antonym: dregs, ordinary, proletariat
Usage: An elite group of surgeons will perform the complex surgery on the president.
 
8.PRISTINE (adjective) बेदाग
Pronunciation: pri•steen
Meaning: clean and fresh as if new
Synonyms: spotless, immaculate, perfect, unspoiled, flawless, clean, fresh
Antonyms: dirty, sullied, affected  
Usage: My uncle’s antique car is pristine and has all its original parts.
 
9.SERMON (noun) उपदेश
Pronunciation: suh•muhn
Meaning: a lecture
Synonyms: lecture, tirade, harangue, diatribe, speech, monologue, declamation
Antonyms: commendation
Usage: The guest speaker preached a moving sermon about forgiveness. 
 
10.HYPERBOLE (noun) – अतिशयोक्ति
Pronunciation: hai•puh•buh•lee
Meaning: exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally
Synonyms: exaggeration, overstatement, magnification, amplification, embellishment
Antonyms: understatement, lessening, compression
Usage: If the politician uses one more hyperbole in his speech, I will know he is exaggerating about all his claims.
